The new HFV Technology improves our applicators in the following ways.

1. FLOW RATES
The new HFV allows the maximum flow rate around the valve when it is open. During testing and field trials the HFV shows a 33% improvement in refill time and 10%-20% improvement in delivery speed.
2. CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
We are utilizing the latest in resin technology providing a virtually totally chemically resistant valve.

3. VALVE FUNCTIONALITY
The new HFV also incorporates a new sealing edge that does not utilize an o-ring. No o-ring means no sticking of the o-ring valve to the valve seat if allowed to dry out, thus making the applicator easier to prime.

4. FLOW EFFECT
The new HFV improves flow characteristics as the sealing edge cuts through the fluid path. The old o-ring was subject to product build up over time.
We believe the new HFV to be a great step forward in valve design and technology. Our process of improvement is the corner stone of NJ Phillips Pty Ltd, to not stand still but pioneer advancements that place our expertise, in your hands.

G’day and welcome to another episode of Outback Matt.
During the past few months we have been busy participating in customer trials. It is the work that we do before, during and after a trial, that is critical in ensuring we meet the customers expectations of what the applicator should and will do, when time comes to launch the product.
This recent trial near Nowendoc in northern NSW was carried out with not only our customer, but also field personnel from local vets and agricultural testing and accreditation agencies. The work we do is studied and forms part of the protocol that will be used to register these products.
I have also included this month another Technical Tip related to our 20ml Metal Applicator PAD1232.
I hope you find the movie and technical info helpful and I look forward to talking to you again, at another time, from another place around the world.
Regards,
Outback Matt
