In situations where you only have a small number of animals to treat, NJ Phillips Repeater Injectors are the perfect choice.
They are ideal for all injectable products for subcutaneous or intramuscular injections in all species of livestock.
Our 25ml model (plastic or metal handle) can hold up to 25ml of injectable product and can be set to dose at 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 or 2.5ml per injection.
The 50ml models (plastic or metal handle) can hold up to 50ml of injectable product and can be set to dose at 1,2,3,4 or 5ml.
Simply fit a clean Luer type needle to the applicator, then insert the needle through the rubber bung of the injectable product bottle. Draw in as much product as you need, carefully expelling any surplus air from the cylinder, then set your dose and you are ready to inject.
Even if you need to administer a larger dose it is very easy to set the dose at 1/2 or 1/3 of the required dose and activate the applicator two or three times in succession at one injection site without removing the needles.
Cleaning is a breeze. Once you remove the needle, flush with warm soapy water by pulling the push rod back and forth a few times, then do the same with clean water. The cylinder can then be unscrewed and left to drain. The piston can be wiped down with a sterile wipe.
When you reassemble, place a small amount of NJ Phillips Lubricant on the O-ring of the piston to maximise O-ring life and make the syringe easier to operate.
The instruments can also be sterilised by immersion in boiling water or some cold water disinfectants.
The supplied cylinder is a super tough crystal clear plastic with volume markings permanently embossed. We also manufacture a high-chemical resistance polypropylene barrel that you may find is better suited to some oil based vitamin and mineral formulations which can be quite aggressive on some plastics.
So add an NJ Phillips Repeater Injector to your animal health equipment. You’ll find them convenient, easy to use and maintain and ideal for all those situations when you just want to treat a small number of livestock. You’ll save time and have zero waste of injectable products when you use them.

You’ll wonder how you ever drenched lambs without the new metal NJ Phillips 10ml Lamb Drencher.

This instrument meets all the requirements we feel have been lacking in the lamb drencher field, especially when drenching in a confined, cradle situation.
Our design incorporates a thicker shorter nozzle and a smaller hand span, making it safer to use with lambs. It is also more compact and handles all lamb drenches.
We’ve had some great feedback with users describing the 10ml Lamb Drencher as, “Compact and smooth”, “Feel great” and “A handful of YUM!”.
Spare parts are available for this instrument so you
can enjoy a lifetime of service and reliability from your
NJ Phillips 10ml Lamb Drencher.
I hope this episode of Outback Matt has been informative, and I will see you again soon, at another time, from another place around the world.
Regards,

Have you ever stopped to think about all the work that goes into the development and manufacture of our equipment?

With more than 200 different models, a multitude of accessories and spare parts and more than 2000 different inventory items including metal, plastic and synthetic rubber components being produced every year, one of the key requirements in managing our production is to have accurate technical drawings.

These technical drawings detail every dimension and tolerance for each component and are used in our manufacturing and quality control to ensure that our equipment is produced to a consistently high standard.

Brod Smith is our senior draftsperson and Bradley Edwards has completed three years of his apprenticeship whilst working here at NJ Phillips.

With the experience Bradley has gained at NJ Phillips under Brod’s watchful eye, and his studies at TAFE, he has recently been awarded with the New South Wales State Medal for attaining the highest average mark in his Drafting Apprenticeship. Well done Bradley!
